Refund Policy
Effective date: March 8, 2026
YB Techworks sells digital software products. Because digital goods are delivered immediately upon purchase, our refund policy is designed to be fair while reflecting the nature of digital products.
1. Refund Window
We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if the product is defective or fails to function as described. Refund requests submitted after 14 days from the purchase date will not be accepted.
2. Eligibility
Refunds are available only in the following circumstances:
- The product is defective and does not function as described on the product page.
- You encounter a technical issue that we are unable to resolve within a reasonable time.
The following are not eligible for a refund:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Products that have been fully used or consumed
- Issues caused by the customer's own hardware, software, operating system, or environment that are not related to our product
- Incompatibility issues that were clearly disclosed prior to purchase
3. Notice for EU Customers — Waiver of Withdrawal Right
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers in the European Union generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, this right does not apply to digital content that has been made available immediately upon purchase where the consumer has provided prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal.
By completing a purchase of any digital product from YB Techworks, EU customers expressly acknowledge that:
- The digital product is made available immediately upon purchase;
- They consent to the immediate performance of the contract; and
- They waive their 14-day right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).
This waiver does not affect your rights under our defective product refund policy above.
4. Subscription Cancellation
Recurring Premium subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via your Google account subscription settings. Cancellation stops future billing; you retain Premium access through the end of the paid period. Cancellation of a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period unless the product is defective as described above.
The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and is not a subscription.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase date. Please include:
- Your order ID or purchase confirmation
- The product name
- A description of the issue you are experiencing
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
6. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed via Stripe and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your original payment method, depending on your bank or card issuer.
